There's definitely something to be said about gun control, but what about when someone gets shot by a bullet that was nowhere near a gun?  Yeah, that happened.

The Huffington Post reports that a 56-year-old woman in a Pennsylvania home improvement store suddenly found herself injured when a bullet in her purse exploded, with the casing ripping a hole in her handbag and striking her in the leg.  Police confirmed that the woman was not in possession of a firearm.  They said something in the purse must have "hit the primer" of the bullet, causing it to explode.

The woman chose not to go the hospital right after the incident — possibly because the police would need to be called and then maybe it would end up in the local paper — but did, at the urging of her son, seek medical attention three hours afterward.
