If you thought NASA only sent people into outer space, think again.  Turns out NASA also sends people to the bottom of the ocean, and one of these "aquanauts" is from Fort Collins!  Crazy, right?

Dorothy "Dottie" Metcalf-Lindenburger was recently interviewed on Fox31 Denver, broadcasting from the bottom of the ocean where she had been living in an underwater habitat. Dottie and her team of aquanauts were on a 12-day mission that involved simulating a spacewalk close to an asteroid.  Isn't it weird to think of "spacewalks" on the bottom of the ocean?  Sure does seem cool, though!  Check out the interview!
