
Woman Convicted in Explosion That Blew Up Her House in Carr
A jury has convicted a woman charged in connection with an explosion of her home in Carr caused by the production of a marijuana concentrate like hash oil or marijuana wax.
According to the Weld County DA, 54-year-old Lavonne Bessler was convicted Wednesday of processing or manufacturing marijuana or marijuana concentrate. She is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 13.
Co-defendants Levi Allen and Clayton Smith have yet to go to trial. They were both injured in the explosion.
