Major Changes To Ball Arena Team Store And Box Office In Denver

Built back in 1999 just off of I-25 in Downtown Denver, the Ball Arena (formerly Pepsi Center) has been home to many incredible memories in its just over two decades in the Mile High City. While you've likely seen countless concerts from the world's biggest acts like Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Garth Brooks, Metallica, and so on, to amazing live shows like WWE Raw and Smackdown, UFC fights, Monster Jam, Disney on Ice, and more. The Ball Arena is also home to three professional sports teams. The NBA's Denver Nuggets, the current NLL Champion Colorado Mammoth, and the current NHL Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche.

When going to a game at the Ball Arena, you've no doubt popped into their official "Altitude Authentics" team store to pick up some fresh gear to showcase your fandom for these three amazing franchises, but as of late, that store has been closed... What, you might ask, are they up to down there?

What's Going On With The Team Store At Ball Arena?

You've seen the construction going on as you walk in the main entrance at Ball Arena since the summer. Have you also noticed that the Box Office has also been closed? That's no coincidence. Now that almost all of Ball Arena's events are digital tickets, the need for a huge box office space became less and less of a demand. So, what should they do with all of that extra space that's basically being wasted as a giant Box Office? They re-purpose it, and you're going to love what they're using it for.

Huge New Team Store Coming To Ball Arena

The Ball Arena's Team Store, while awesome, is pretty small considering all of the amazing gear they have for the three teams. It can get pretty cramped in there and it's also hard to display all of the amazing swag all of the teams have to offer. That's why a new and improved "Altitude Authentics" store is coming that, at my best guess, will be about double the size of what it was before closing over the summer as it will now expand into what used to be the Ball Arena Box Office space.

While specific plans and details are still unknown, you can imagine that the new space will allow the store to display all of the team's different gear full-time instead of constantly changing what's on display based on who's playing that night. From authentic jerseys, hats, hoodies, and swag, they're now going to have even more than ever as they prepare to open this Colorado sports fan's dream store. Here are some pictures of the construction that I took earlier this month.

What's Up With The Team Store at Ball Arena Construction? So Exciting

The construction to expand the Team Store at the Ball Arena into the former Box Office space is underway and we can's wait to see it.

A date is not confirmed for its re-grand opening, but with both the Avalance and Nuggets starting their season's in the next few weeks, my guess would be by Avs Opening Night at the very latest, is the goal. One thing's for sure, it's going to be awesome and we can't wait to see it. Speaking of the Colorado Avalanche... Remember these pix?
