What former Denver Broncos Made The Playoffs This Year?

It's crazy to think that the last time the Denver Broncos made the playoffs, we won the whole dang thing when we beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. That's six straight years without even sniffing the playoffs. It's one of the longest post-season droughts in Denver Broncos History. Not something to be proud of, but with a new Head Coach, and the possibility of Aaron Rodgers coming to Denver, we're hopeful that the playoff drought will finally come to an end.

Since our Denver Broncos haven't given us anything to cheer for this post-season again, here are some former Denver players who are still on the hunt for this year's Vince Lombardi Trophy that you can cheer for.

Von Miller

Former Denver Bronco and Super Bowl 50 MVP, Von Miller, will be playing in the NFC Championship with the Los Angeles Rams vs. the San Francisco 49ers.

Still weird seeing him in a Rams uniform wearing number 40. Go Rams.

Brandon Allen

Former Broncos QB, Brandon Allen, will be playing as the backup to Cincinnati Bengals QB, Joe Burrow, taking on the annoying Kansas City Cheifs in the AFC Championship game.

Broncos fans hate KC so go Cinici.

Those are the only two former Broncos playing on Championship Sunday this year, but here are some more notable former Broncos players that made it to the playoffs but were eliminated last weekend in the divisional round.

Emmanual Sanders

I still hate seeing Sanders in any uniform that isn't orange and blue. One of my all-time favorite Broncos.

Isaiah McKenzie

Another former Denver wide receiver, Isaiah McKenzie, catching bombs from Josh Allen in Buffalo. Allen should have been our QB, but yeah. We got Chubb.

Kyle Peko

Former Broncos D-Lineman, Kyle Peko, made the playoffs with the Titans this year.

 Juwann Winfree

Former Broncos wide receiver,  Juwann Winfree, made it to the postseason with Green Bay. Maybe Rogers brings him back to Denver too.

Shaq Barret

Not just a former Denver Bronco, but also a former CSU Ram. Shaq BAttert won another ring with Tampa last year but was eliminated in the divisional round this year alongside his HOF Tom Brady.

It sucks when players leave Denver, especially great ones like Von, Sanders, and Shaq, but we can always cheer for them to do well unless they play for KC or the Raiders, that is. Go Broncos.
