Looking to get outside, go for a nice bike ride, and enjoy this beautiful Colorado weather? There are plenty of amazing trails that are perfect for every skill level. From some more challenging trails to trails that are perfect for a calm leisurely ride, here are my favorites.

1. Foothills Trail

First, Foothills Trail is a more difficult and mainly mountain bike focused trail that is beautiful and perfect if you are looking for a bit of a challenge. On average, this trail takes about 7 minutes to complete and is 1 mile long. This trail offers an amazing view of all the beauty Northern Colorado has, and if you are a fan of mountain biking or just getting into it, it will live up to the hype.

2. Fossil Creek Trail

Next on the list is Fossil Creek Trail in the foothills of Fort Collins. Fossil Creek is much less intense but offers amazing views and a great experience.

This trail is perfect if you are a beginner or if you are just looking for a great place to go for a casual bike ride. It is a very open trail which allows you to see all of the wonderful views from on the foothills.

3. Mason Trail

Last but not least on the list is Mason Trail. If you are looking for a trail that is more in the city, Mason Trail is perfect. Mason Trail runs north to south through Fort Collins and is a great alternative to driving. When you get tired of driving or just want get out in the beautiful summer sun, this is a great trail for getting around town or it is perfect if you just want to go for a calm bike ride!
