The Denver Nuggets off-season and free-agency signings have been a tad quiet, and with the season abruptly ended in Round Two of the NBA Playoffs, we figured they'd be making a bit more noise, and now we have that noise.

As I sit here at my desk looking at my Nuggets NBA Championship gear, and banner hanging on my wall, it's hard to believe we had just won our first NBA Championship just a little over a year ago.

At times it feels like it was forever ago, and part of that is likely due in part to the team getting bounced in mid-May from this year's NBA Playoffs. After hope of a repeat season, we were all surprised by their early exit.

Following the season, we've lost more than we gained as far as improving the Nuggets roster, but now there's excitement in the air as we just reeled in a big fish looking to bring their MVP and All-Star talents to the Mile High City and get his first ring.

NBA Superstar Russell Westbrook To Sign With The Denver Nuggets

After losing KCP and Reggie Jackson in free agency, fans were worried that we'd be in trouble this upcoming season after losing a pair of reliable vet leaders on the team. We needed another vet to come in and join this cast of NBA superstars in Denver, and according to ESPN, we've got our guy.

ESPN's NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that nine-time NBA All-Star and former MVP Russell Westbrook is headed to Denver...

From the sounds of it, Nikola Jokic has been one of the voices in the room excited to bring Westbrook to Denver, as he knows Russ will help the Nuggets' current bench situation, and will help down the stretch next season as we home to get back to the NBA Finals again to bring home another Larry O'Brien trophy!

The Nuggets finally made it official, and Nuggets fans are so excited! Welcome to Denver, Russ. We hope you work out better than the last Russell that came to play in Colorado. That bar is set pretty low... Go Nuggets!

The Greatest Moment In Nuggets History. Their Championship Parade

The 2023 NBA Championship Parade for our Denver Nuggets was absolutely spectacular. Firetrucks from all over Colorado loaded up with Nuggets players and staff and took over 17th Street in Downtown Denver. Here are some pix of the action that we caught at 17th and Wazee just outside of Union Station.
