The Weld Food Bank is still in desperate need of frozen turkey for the holiday season.  Volunteers will be at Wal-Mart Supercenter stores until 2 p.m. today collecting turkeys so they can fulfill all of their requests for Thanksgiving. If you can help, it would be sincerely appreciated.

HERE IS WHAT THEY NEED

The Weld Food Bank is asking for donations of turkeys, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, green beans, mushroom soup and pie filling.

WHERE TO DONATE

You can bring these donations to the Weld Food Bank, at 1108 H Street in Greeley, between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. The Weld Food Bank staff will be collecting holiday food donations at area Wal-Mart Supercenter stores today (Saturday, November 17th) until 2pm. The food bank will also be open until 2pm today. You can drop turkeys off at Wing Shack locations in Greeley and Windsor. Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the food bank, any Ehrlich dealership in Greeley, Sears Real Estate, and New West Bank in Eaton.

FOOD BANK FOR LARIMER COUNTY NEEDS HELP TOO

Thanks to an enthusiastic community response the Food Bank for Larimer County has received several hundred turkeys, but still need your help before Thanksgiving. Please continue to drop off frozen turkeys: Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, Sunday 11am-3pm, Monday, 7:30am-4:30pm in Fort Collins - 1301 Blue Spruce.
