ManningCast schedule Reveal Filmed At Kent Denver School
Kent Denver School isn't just a 6-12 Private School in Denver, Colorado... It's not the home of the viral "ManningCast: The Musical," which was filmed on their theatre stage. Neil Trugilo, who is the technical theater director at Kent Denver School, got the call from Omaha Productions, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Neil Trigillo told our friends at 9News that after 2 months of preparing the stage at Kent, the Manning brothers showed up ready for work saying:
When they showed up it was game on. You think Peyton has a game face on Sundays, you should have seen him when we were shooting this production. They are pros, and it was fun and exciting when they were here. But it was game on for sure.
The brothers filmed their scenes on Kent's stage in about four hours, and the rest, including all of the celebrity cameos, were filmed elsewhere in front of a green screen. The finished product might not win them a Tony (which was the theme for the video), but it will forever be an incredibly special moment in Kent's history.
Trugilo went on to say to 9News:
I was excited when I saw it, thinking about the students, and them being proud to say 'hey, that's where I go to school. Hopefully, we did such a good job that if you don't know Kent you'd have no idea that it wasn't shot on a Broadway stage.
The outtakes & bloopers below show how the celebrities were injected into the scenes filmed by Peyton & Eli at Kent Denver.
