This is debate material.  I've read lots of blogs and people are all worked up on this topic.  I think "twenty eleven" sounds cooler, it is easier to say and it will be what I use.  Although I didn't use "twenty ten" this year, so it will be new for me.  I found a great article in the San Francisco Chronicle from last year about the debate, including the viewpoints of the National Association of Good Grammar.  Did you know we had a National Association of Good Grammar?  I did not, but here's what they said

"NAGG has decided to step in and decree that (2010) should officially be pronounced 'twenty ten,' and all subsequent years should be pronounced as 'twenty eleven,' 'twenty twelve,' etc.," proclaims the association's news release. "
Read the full article and decide for yourself.  Meanwhile I'll be chanting "Twenty Eleven" this New Years Eve!
