Taste of Fort Collins Supports the Fort Collins Eyeopeners Kiwanis Club
For over 20 years, volunteers from the Fort Collins Eyeopeners Kiwanis Club have been at Townsquare Media's Taste of Fort Collins, sporting their yellow aprons throughout the festival.
Even though the show is going on(line) this year, Taste of Fort Collins is proud to support the Eyeopeners once again.
Established in 1973, the Fort Collins Eyeopeners Kiwanis Club is dedicated to improving the lives of local children through numerous youth service programs and sponsorship opportunities.
One of these programs is the Colorado Feeding Kids Food Packing Event, which provides 50,000 meals to children and families in need in Fort Collins.
The Eyeopeners also coordinate the annual fishing derby, and work to teach local children about safety with the distribution of The Swimsuit Lesson book to thousands of Fort Collins first and second graders.
On top of their own programs, the Eyeopeners also partner with The Nappie Project, FoCo Cafe, and other service organizations.
Don't forget to tune in to Townsquare Media's virtual Taste of Fort Collins livestream on Friday (July 24) at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Eyeopeners.
