Colorado has said goodbye to too many local businesses in the last year, but we're also losing some super popular national chains as well. Sadly another company is biting the dust as we say goodbye to all ten of their Colorado locations.

Downsizing around Colorado over the last few years has become a trend that nobody is a fan of. We've seen the doors close on more local restaurants, shops, and other favorites around the state and it's hard to even keep track of them at this point.

We've also lost some huge national favorites like Best Buy, Macy's, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Boston Market, Big Lots, Rue 21, Tuesday Morning, and so many others. These are mostly all stores that we didn't think would ever close down.

Now as we get closer to the tail-end of the year, we're losing one more popular national chain state-wide as all ten of their current locations are set to lock up for good over the next 12 weeks or so.

After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in August, the popular LL Flooring Company, which was founded in 1993, has been unable to find a buyer and is now having to sadly close all of its current locations, including its 10 locations around Colorado.

In a letter to its loyal customers, LL Flooring's CEO Charles Tyson said:

It is with a heavy heart that we must let you know that we are going to begin the process of winding down LL Flooring’s business and closing all of our stores. This is not the outcome that any of us had hoped for.

He followed up by announcing that all stores would have store-closing sales over the next twelve weeks as the stores prepare for final closings. Each closing timeline will vary from store to store.

Catch the closing sales at all Colorado LL Flooring locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Thornton, Denver, and more.
