Sports Authority Signage to Be Taken Off Stadium

It was huge news when we heard that retailer Sports Authority would be no more. All the went away, but the logos stayed on Mile High Stadium. Weird, right? If you have been wondering when the logos for Sports Authority on the stadium will be going away, you don't have to wonder any more.

The branding will be taken down within the next week to 10 days according to Broncos President and CEO, Joe Ellis. However, the stadium will still hold the name "Sports Authority Field at Mile High" because of upcoming events in the months ahead are tied with that name.

In an article at KDVR, Ellis said "I suspect by the start of the season, we will either have a placeholder name or a name on the building that involves a corporation supporting that name".
