We've all watched and dreamed about being a contestant on the "Supermarket Sweep" TV show, right? Well, the NoCo Grocery Grab, our local version of that beloved game show, is back, and they want you to play and win.

Supermarket Sweep Type Game In Northern Colorado

Growing up with only the free network television stations for most of my days as a kid, I watched quite a bit of "Supermarket Sweep" and was always envious of those playing. I mean, how awesome would it be to be able to run through the grocery store and grab as much stuff as I could? Needless to say, when I heard there was a local version of this coming to Northern Colorado to help raise money for the Partners mentoring organization a couple of years ago, I was super excited. I was even more excited when contacted to host this awesome event for the last two years.

Partners is a local nonprofit in Northern Colorado whose mission is to "empower youth and community members to achieve their full potential through mentoring, prevention education, and strategic partnership." The organization came up with the idea for its local version of the "Supermarket Sweep" when the COVID restrictions halted the annual St. Patricks Day 5K in Old Town Fort Collins. The NoCo Grocery Grab was the perfect solution as a replacement to drive awareness to Partners and its mission, as well as raise the needed funds to support all of the amazing work it does in our community. I mean, what an extremely cool way to raise money and awareness, right?

NoCo Grocery Grab Is Back For 2023

Last year's second-year event, hosted by yours truly, was such a huge success that it's coming back for a third event in 2023. If you'd like to get in on the action and have your shot to run around Lucky's Market in Fort Collins and fill your cart full of goodies, get the full scoop and your tickets here. You only have until this weekend to buy your tickets though, so don't be a slacker. Three winners will be selected for either a $1000, $750 or a $500 shopping spree at Lucky's. Winners will be announced on Partner's Facebook at 11 am on Monday, March 27th. And if you win, I need some more of those tasty Lucky's Market steaks so remember me, OK? Good luck!
