Netflix is Keeping Friends, So Here Are My Top Episodes
With WarnerMedia on the heels of one of Netflix's top shows, the streaming giant made a game-changing move and offered up $100 million dollars to hold on to Friends for another year.
Now that we know our favorite friends are sticking around on the streaming service, I thought I'd let you in on my favorite episodes, so that you can get to binging, Scruggs-style.
1. The One With Unagi, S6
Everyone kind of hates on Ross, and look, I get it-- he's an asshat sometimes-- which is why it's funny when he's put in his place in this episode. Rachel and Phoebe teach him not to mess with them, and it's so hilarious to watch him scream when they finally scare the living daylights out of him.
2. The One After Ross Says Rachel, S5
I love watching Monica and Chandler get together for the first time, and all because someone thought Monica was Ross's mom...hey girl, I get it. No one wants to be called old in a red dress.
3. The One With Joey's Award, S7
Okay, this one is just plain hilarious: not only is Joey all of us when he loses out on a sort-of-prestigious Soapie, but Rachel just wants to wear a pretty dress and pretend she won a Grammy, and I can relate to that.
4. The One With the Girl From Poughkeepsie, S4
Yet again, relateable. Chandler tries to hook Rachel up with someone from his work, but she doesn't want them to think she's too eager. I also just love watching Ross try to stay awake this entire episode, since he's dating someone a town away.
5. The One(s) in Barbados, pt. 1 and 2, S9
Okay, I cheated and put both of these episodes in here. They're just so funny. Yeah, Joey and Rachel are a weird couple for the show to force, but Paul Rudd makes a return and Monica gets braids, so it's just funny.
Did I miss any episodes that you think deserve to be on this list? Let me know in the comments and get to binging: you have a whole year.
