Man Calls 911 Because Neighbors Won't Come Over For A Drink

It's tough for some people to make friends, and some people just make it tough on themselves. A Florida man allegedly call 911...twice, because his neighbors didn't want to come over for a friendly cocktail.

According to TCPalm, Police were called about 8:30 at night for a domestic disturbance. Our 56-year-old guy said,

His neighbors were being mean and would not drink with him.

The dispatcher explained to him that a quarrel with his neighbors was not what the 911 system is used for, but the lesson didn't sink in because he called back again about half an hour later to again try and report that his neighbors wouldn't come drink with him.

This time police showed up, not to make his neighbors play nice, but to arrest him for disorderly intoxication and misuse of 911.

Maybe he'll have better luck making friends in prison.
