Inspiring Girl Engineers ‘Princess Machine’ Video [Video]

As a Mom of a 4-year-old daughter this video makes me so happy. Somehow princess things and the color pink snuck into our lives and the constant push of commercials and toys. I love it when my daughter just wants to build something, collect sticks, draw with a regular pen and paper, etc. I want to raise a strong independent girl who looks beyond sparkle and shine and uses her brain, not just beauty. This video is made by toymaker GoldieBlox is to inspire future women engineers. Check out their website for some great "girly" building toys.
