First Dog Ever Climbs Everest

This dog is a super hero!

His name is Rupee and he used to be a homeless dog that had his life turned around!

He was found in a dump site in Northern India and was on the brink of death. He couldn't walk and had been without food and water for quite some time. Joanne Lefson took him home and nursed him back to health with rice and boiled eggs.

Once he had his health back, he made an amazing 10-day trip with his new owner up Everest. She was a little concerned that he wasn't going to be able to make the trip, but he had no problem. He was just bounding around the snow and made it to base camp!
