Target Stores in Colorado Brace for Significant Change Coming Soon

Target is one of Colorado's retail leaders, it also dominates all over the country as one of the best places to shop for home goods and food. So will this new change that the corp team at Target is implementing affect you as a local Target shopper?
Target In Colorado To Change Payment Options
Now more than ever, especially after the pandemic, electronic payments are the way that most people pay when they go out to shop, eat, and play. Cash was king for years, and now some places are fazing that out completely.
While Target isn't one of the companies phasing out cash transactions, as of Monday, July 15th, Target locations are expected to stop accepting personal checks as a form of payment in their stores nationwide.
Joining other major retail giants like Whole Foods and Aldi, Target will no longer be accepting checks as a payment option. No, it's not because of fake checks that bounce, although this eliminates those issues too, it's in part because of the decline in the usage of checks over the years.
They'll still accept cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, etc.), EBT cards, and more. you can also use a check through the mail to pay your Target Circle Card balance, just not in person.
