Major Change At Colorado Chick-Fil-A’s Now In Effect

There's a reason that any Chick-fil-A in Colorado you see almost always has a line 20 cars deep. It's by far our state's top fast food choice for chicken. They quietly made a major change that is already in place, have you noticed?

 History Of Chick-fil-A in Colorado

Opening the first Chick-fil-A location in Colorado back in 1978, inside the Town Center at Aurora, it was pretty quickly known that this "little" chicken restaurant was going to be special.

For most of my life, the only way to find Chil-fil-A was by stopping into one of the local malls. My go-to malls for Chick-fil-A were the old Northglenn and Westminster Malls. Neither of those are around anymore, and I blame it on Chick-fil-A moving out.

Now, most Chick-fil-A's are stand-alone locations, and as we discussed above, you'll rarely see an empty Chick-fil-A, especially when it comes to their drive-thru's. They sure do have a sweet system to keep that line moving though, don't they?

The lids of the new Chick-fil-A cups were also re-designed as seen in the design overview from CFA below.

For being "just a cup," there was a lot of thought that went into this re-design and it is 100% unique to Chick-fil-A. Have you been given one of these new cups yet? What do you think? CFA is gladly accepting feedback regarding this new change.

My take? As long as the chicken recipe doesn't change, and they don't try and get fancy with their BBQ ever again like they did a few years ago, I'll take my drink in any cup they pass out the window. Speaking of great chicken in Colorado.. Ever tried this place?
