Bent Fork In Loveland Permanently Closed

As reported here yesterday by Townsquares "Unofficial Mayor of Loveland," the owners of Loveland's "Bent Fork The Grill" announced that they have permanently closed their doors to its location at the Promenade Shops at Centerra. If you had never been to the Bent Fork, you missed out on quite the experience. From the amazing location, their awesome bar, the tasty food, their amazing staff, and yes, even their signature bent forks. The Bent Fork was a place many folks in Northern Colorado called "theirs." Why is that? It's because you always felt welcomed and cared for. More than a restaurant, it was a place to go visit friends.

Northern Colorado Reacts To Bent Fork's Closing

With the news, came an overwhelming reaction from folks all over our great community.

"So sad!! This was one of the best places to eat with the best atmosphere!! Congratulations on your retirement! And thank you for a wonderful restaurant! Best Baja tacos ever!!"

"The Bent Fork was the best in every way- food, service, atmosphere. We used to come there for special occasions, but also for lots of other meals. We will miss you all a whole bunch!"

'Extremely heartbroken that the restaurant is closed and there won’t be a brick and motor place to visit, but I know without a doubt that all the past and current staff “forkers” and amazing regulars will carry the essence that is and will forever be Bent Fork The Grill well into the future!'

"I’ve had so many amazing memories built at Bent Fork and your salmon BLT was next level delicious! Thank you for the wonderful food and atmosphere you provided to Loveland!"

"Heartbreaking news!!! We love Bent Fork!!!! Many fond memories!!!! My Christmas Eve lunches with my grandbeauty!!! You will be missed!!!! Thank you for your love and dedication!!!!"

"So sad to see you go. Any chance of getting the mushroom soup recipe?"

Those are just a few of the hundreds of reactions to the news that this Northern Colorado staple, is no longer here for us to enjoy. Personally, I could tell you story after story about just how special this place was to me. I used to do a holiday collection drive right outside of the Bent Fork in front of the Ice Rink. Some nights would be recorded cold temps but John and the amazing staff at the Bent Fork always took such good care of me. As soon as my shift was done, I'd head into the bar with my fellow staffers and we'd close the bar down. Once we stayed so long after hours, the cleaning crew showed up and kicked us out. True story. I'll miss so much about it and I'm so thankful for the friendships and relationships I made at that place that still exists to this day. Thank you for the memories, Bent Fork. Cheers.
