It seems as though everyone gets their "American Pride" on when the Olympics roll around. For a couple weeks we update our Facebook status with a U.S.A theme, our outfits have a little more red, white, and blue in them, and we may even fly that old flag above the garage. Local rapper Thomas Tha Franchise just does what he does best... Writes and produces music. His Olympic themed "My Moment Team USA Olympic Remix" doesn't just highlight Team U.S.A though, it helps those on the "real" team U.S.A who need it.

Thomas said on his Facebook page "The download will be on iTunes within the next few days and 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit the victims or the Aurora shooting! Thanks for supporting! GO USA!!" So not only will you have a pretty sick new song on your iPod, but you will be helping those who are hurting!

Thomas Tha Franchise (TTF) has been an entertainer since he was little. Using his high energy and focus, he received his degree in Broadcasting and had his own radio show on 1510AM at the age of 23. He has a dynamic range of musical influences from Jay-Z to Led Zepplin. His eclectic style generates a genre considered to be somewhere in the likes of Alternative/Hip-Hop/Party Rock. His niche is to remix top 40 rock hits such as Owl City's "Fireflies" and Lady Gaga's "Pokerface" by adding heavy beats and fresh lyrics. He has some great originals such as "Rocktober" which was the Colorado Rockies World Series theme song in 2007. A storyteller in his lyrics, TTF is known for his ability to grasp the audience.

I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with Thomas going to both high school and broadcasting school with him. The dude is straight talented, and I have a feeling he is going big real soon. You heard it here first!

OMG... It's TTF
