Local Breweries Remember Aurora Shooting Victims
In it's 5th year, an event that remembers the victims of the heartless Aurora theatre shooting, Weldwerks is among the featured brewers for the event. "A Night to Remember" is a beer festival that remembers all victims of the Aurora Shooting, specifically one of the Victims that worked at the Copper Kettle Brewery. Alex Teves, 24, was one of the brewers, his brewer #28, who was fatally shot the day of the Aurora shooting. His memory lives on through this event that features 33 brewers from Colorado including; Weldwerks from Greeley, Grimm Brothers from Loveland, and Odells from Ft. Collins. They all are raising a pint to Alex and all of those that lost their lives that day.
The event is today, July 17th, from 3-7 in Denver's Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S Forest Street Denver, CO. There will be food trucks, live music, custom t-shirts, giveaways, and a silent auction that will donate 100% of all the proceeds to the ACT Foundation that was started in Alex Teve's name that helps students with unique needs at the Hamanex Academy. Come out for a event that supports local community as well as remembers all of those that lost their lives July 20th, 2012, in the Aurora Theatre Shootings.
