Full Moon Bike Ride Along the Poudre
The only time the Poudre River Trail will be open after dark!
Greeley and Windsor are hosting the annual Full Moon Bike Ride again for the 2018 year. The bike trail event that goes along the Poudre River Trail at the only time of the year that the trail is open after dark. It only happens when there is a full moon to ensure that there is plenty of natural light to enjoy the gorgeous trail like you normally wouldn't get to see it. Since it will be after dark, anyone under the age of 18 must be with an adult and participants must wear helmets, have bike lights, and sign a liability waiver. The bike ride will start at 7:30pm and is free to participate in.
The Full Moon Bike Ride will have two starting points in Greeley and Windsor. Greeley's starting location will be at the Rover Run Dog Park Trailhead, 5207 W. F Street in Greeley and is the shorter of the two routes at a 18 mile round trip. The Windsor route will start at the Kodak Trailhead which is located east of Highway 257 & Highway 34 and is little bit longer due to the starting point at Kodak and then meeting up with the Rover Run Dog Park Trailhead and looping back around to the Kodak Trailhead. Bring out the whole family for a bike ride that will be unforgetable!
