Dogs Get a Taste of the Olympics!

The day your dog has always been waiting for! Your dog can be apart of the Olympic Games! Doggie style of course!  This year, Discovery Bay Doggie Day is joining in the Olympic fun and are holding agility courses, that dogs are able to win prizes in. The Olympics will be just across the street to the pool at the Waggin’ Tail Dog Park. Get there an hour early to the swim start time to be able to compete in the agility courses.

The big day is August 27th and is broken down into two sessions: One for small dogs up to 50 lbs will be from 10am to 12pm. The second session is for big dogs, 50 lbs and over and will be from 1pm to 3pm. The pool is such a fun pool too and is located east Greeley at 715 E 24th St.

Discovery Bay Doggie Day is one of my favorite events. In the spirit of having fun before they close down the pool, Discovery Bay let the dogs play! It's so much fun for dogs and their humans. One ticket gets a dog and 2 human friends in and it's only $5 (if purchased before August 25, $8 at the door). You can purchase tickets at the Greeley Rec Center or at the Family Fun Plex.
