Dear Northern Colorado,

It’s ME! Your friendly neighborhood Big Rob! Yes, I’ve been watching way too much Spiderman with my son lately. Look, I know things changed quickly. I was on your radio one day and gone the next. After spending my entire adult life on one Radio Station, it’s a HUGE change! Not just for you but me as well. Like they say though if you never change, you never grow. I don’t know who “they” are by the way, but I like what “they,” said!

Let me start by saying I loved my time on my previous radio home, but as my life changed and I evolved as a person, my wants and needs changed too. Much like any relationship, right? Talking to the great people at 99.9 the Point and Townsquare Media as a company, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of!

I take great pride in what I do, especially with all I’ve been able to accomplish over the years right here in my home state of Colorado, which is why I was always able to give you the absolute best version of me. 2020 was hard. I said goodbye to many of my favorite co-workers and the environment around me changed a lot in the last 22 months. I knew in my heart that if I was going to be able to continue to give you the best version of me, this was a much-needed change. It’s a change that I’m so excited about and I hope you’ll continue to ride home with me every weekday afternoon on 99.9 the Point!

Over almost 2 decades, we had some amazing times together! Sending you to concerts, local events, trips all over the world is something that I was thrilled to be a part of and I can’t wait to bring that same magic to you every weekday afternoon on 99.9 the Point!

Thank you, for all of your support over the years, I’m happy you’re on this journey with me! Call into the show, send me emails, hit us up on social, I want to hear from you!

Chat soon,

Rob
