Daily Dose of Weird: Toddler Picks Winning Lottery Ticket, Wins $1 Million for Mom
Sometimes, it pays off to trust your kid's instincts. I'm sure Afsheen Ahsan of Brooklyn, New York will continue doing just that, since her two-year-old just made her a millionaire.
According to the New York Daily News, Ahsan was in a convenience store back in January, and wasn't even considering playing an instant win scratch game; that is, until her daughter Anaya Hussain reached out and touched one of the tickets.
Taking that as a sign, Ahsan, 34, said she bought a ticket -- and the next thing she knew they were on Easy Street.

Ahsan will receive her $1 million in winnings as annual payments of $31,152 until 2031.
