Disneyland is turning 60 years old today and a fact that most people probably haven't realized is that Disneyland was inspired by Ft. Collins. Walt Disney was presented drawings of these areas by artist Harper Golf, who was from Ft. Collins. Disney loved them and designed similar structures for Disneyland.
