Colorado Isn’t Good At Keeping New Year’s Resolutions. You Surprised?
We're only a few days into 2023 and people all over Colorado have already broken their resolutions... Not too surprising though as Colorado isn't good at keeping them.
Colorado Bad At Keeping New Year's Resolutions
It's a tradition for most to make a New Year's Resolution to kick off each new year. Most of the time it revolves around your health, eating better, working out, etc. Some make goals like a new job or a car, maybe a new relationship, or working on repairing an old one. Mine this year was to be more present and in the moment. I feel bad every time my son has to get in my face and say "daddy!" so I'm going to do my best to not be glued to my screen and be more in the moment. Did you make one? Did you already break it? It's OK, quite a few others in Colorado have broken there's too...
What are The Best And Worst Cities For Keeping New Year's Resolutions?
Our friends at WalletHub put together a survey to help track down the best and worst cities at keeping those New Year's Resolutions. In each city they surveyed, they looked at the different types of resolutions and things that could help you keep them. Things like employment and exercise opportunities, jobs and job growth opportunities, and more. Colorado wasn't the worst state, but I was surprised when I had to keep scrolling passed the top 10 and even 20.
WalletHub has Denver as Colorado's highest city ranking at number 29. The next highest Colorado city inside of the Top 50 is Colorado Springs at number 45. The best place in the country at keeping their resolutions is Seattle, WA, with the very worst city being Newark, NJ. Full map below.
