Do You “Thrift?” A Colorado City Is Top 25 In The Country For Thrifting
The art of "thrifting" is alive and well in Colorado. A recent survey named one Colorado city as a Top 25 place to thrift in the entire country.
Colorado City Named Top 25 City For Thrifting
Back when I was a kid, you didn't really talk about shopping at the thrift store. It was the absolute opposite of cool and could get you seriously bullied or even beat up. Maybe not in all people's situations, but I grew up with some pretty rough and mean kids. We'll save that story for another day though...
I did an event at a Good Will earlier this year and I'll never forget my daughter getting all excited and asking if she could go so she can "go thrifting," which taught me something new. "Thrifting" is cool and everybody does it these days. If you like to thrift, I've got great news because a Colorado city was just named a Top 25 city to get your thrift on.
Vintage is in and it's made the art of "thrifting" is all the rage in 2022. Our friends at Lawn Love put together a new ranking of 2022's best cities for thrifting and a colorado city landed right in the Top 25. To help them pick where the best places to thrift, they looked at the number of thrift stores, flea markets, outlets, specialty thrift shops, and more in each city. Based on all of their data, they've ranked Denver as the 21st best city to thrift in the entire country. Colorado Springs was just after at number 29 and Fort Collins was the next best place to thrift in Colorado but it's way down the list at number 109. Number 1 city to thrift in, by the way, is New York City.
Safe to say that if thrifting is your jam, you've got some great options around Colorado, so happy shopping, my friends.
