Becoming a superhero is one of those lofty goals that fills the daydreams of geeks everywhere (myself included).  So when I heard that a bunch of students at Utah State University had invented a way to climb walls like Spider-Man, I was obviously pretty excited.

It's called the Personal Vacuum Assisted Climber (PVAC), and it was invented by a team of students known as the "Ascending Aggies," according to the Huffington Post.

The team set out to create the incline-scaling invention as part of a national competition sponsored by the Air Force and performed so well that the military is investing $100,000 towards developing the PVAC further.

This. Is. AWESOME.
