Alanis Morissette Welcomes Christmas Baby

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette welcomed a baby boy to the world on Christmas day.  Alanis and her husband, rapper Mario “Souleye” Treadway named him Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, jumping on the 'odd' baby name bandwagon the so many celebrities seem to.

The prolific singer/songwriter, 36, announced her pregnancy in August. She and Treadway, 30, married on May 22 at their Los Angeles home.

Morissette admitted before the birth that the pregnancy had been a surprise, albeit a happy one.

Morissette had previously been engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds.
