This morning the Red Hot Chili Peppers had some sad news for fans planning on attending their sold-out March 4th show at the Pepsi Center. Frontman Anthony Kiedis has to have surgery for a foot injury and the band was forced to reschedule the first 23 dates of their upcoming tour.The Denver show, scheduled for March 4th, has been rescheduled for September 27 and will still happen at the Pepsi Center.

Red Hot Chili Peppers regret to announce that they must postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by Anthony Kiedis. Anthony recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery.

Tickets for the postponed dates will be honored at the rescheduled dates.
