Last week, actor Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith exchanged a couple jokey videos that acknowledged that, after years of speculation, they are indeed the same person. It all ended with Smith challenging Ferrell to a drum contest. “Drum battle, me and you," he wrote. "I’ve seen your skills, you don’t got ‘em. Let’s go. Golden cowbell — winner.”

Finally! After years of speculation, actor Will Ferrell has finally confirmed that he and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith are indeed the same person. And now Smith has challenged the actor to a drum battle.

Lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis got in a serious scuffle with some bodyguards outside the Four Seasons in Philly today (June 21) after they refused to let him inside the hotel -- and it was all caught on video.

This morning the Red Hot Chili Peppers had some sad news for fans planning on attending their sold-out March 4th show at the Pepsi Center. Frontman Anthony Kiedis has to have surgery for a foot injury and the band was forced to reschedule the first 23 dates of their upcoming tour.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N Roses, Donna Summer, Beastie Boys, and The Cure are just a few of the names from the eclectic list of nominated artists. Over 500 voters will receive ballots to vote for the winners, who be inducted into the hall of fame for 2012. Who else is nominated?
