I admit it. I’m a sucker impulse purchases and strange twists on seemingly normal products. Needless to say, I fell in love with Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Tacos the second I heard about them. (Did you know Subway is now offering Doritos Nachos now?!)
And I wasn’t alone; Taco Bell sold 100-million Doritos Locos Tacos in ten weeks. Riding that success they plan on releasing a ‘Cool Ranch’ Doritos taco later this year, and possibly even a ‘Salsa Verde’ Doritos taco too.

A Taco Bell spokesperson confirmed that Taco Bell is "releasing Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos later this year on the heels of the successful introduction of Doritos Locos Tacos, the biggest launch in Taco Bell history." He declined to say when exactly they would be released -- but summer counts as "later this year," right?
I’m not much of a cool ranch guy, but I’m thinking there are some people salivating in anticipation of this next generation of Doritos taco.
I, however will stick to the improvement Derek and I made when we "created" the Doritos Locos Tacos with ‘lava sauce’. Delectable!
