Derek Creates Doritos Locos/Volcano Taco Hybrid at Taco Bell

This weekend I was influenced by a commercial in front of a movie. Usually I fight off those urges to not buy the latest Shamwow or go eat fast food but there was something about that damned Taco Bell commercial that I saw for their new 'Doritos Locos' taco that beckoned me to go eat it. That and the fact that Beano was singing it praises about being a awesome taco. I gave into temptation and went to the local Taco Bell in Loveland. Let me preface by saying I tend not to eat fast food. I ate a lot of it in high school and have tried to stay away since. So, me walking into a Taco Bell is kind of a big deal. Anyway, I ordered the 'Doritos Locos' and waited patiently.  In case you don't know, the 'Doritos Locos' is basically a taco in a shell that is made out of Nacho Cheese Doritos and man is it delicious, but still not my favorite thing from Taco Bell. My favorite is the 'Volcano Taco' and I was craving one of those since I was in there. I started to wonder, what if I got a 'Volcano Taco' in a Doritos shell? I approached the cashier wondering if I was going to be judged and asked that question. She looked at me for a moment and then asked if I meant a Doritos taco with the Volcano sauce in it, and I said yes. She then said, "I don't see why not" and a smile came across my face. The taco was made and I held it in my hands wondering if what I was holding was good or garbage? It was even better! It was pure awesome wrapped in awesome.

If you are a fan of either of those tacos or tacos in general, I recommend trying it. All you have to say to order it to make it easy for you and the cashier is, "Can I get a 'Doritos Locos' taco with 'Volcano sauce?"
