Zooey Deschanel + Joseph Gordon-Levitt Duet on ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?’

Zooey Deschanel and her ‘(500) Days of Summer’ co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt certainly displayed their chemistry on screen in that film.

They’ve reprised it with this quirky and cute duet of the popular 1947 track ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?,’ where the two strum acoustic guitars, sing and smile lovingly at one another. With Deschanel recently splitting with hubby Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie, this homemade viral vid could certainly spark rumors of the ever-popular “New Couple Alert!”

Deschanel, who also stars in FOX’s ‘New Girl,’ is utterly adorable in her tiara and white dress, while Gordon-Levitt also dressed for the occasion in a spiffy tie, white shirt and black jacket. They look like they are on a date.

Deschanel and Gordon-Levitt do exchange plenty of glances in the space of two minutes. They surely make a believable couple. It’s enough to make us think about what we are doing on New Year’s Eve, which is, you know, tomorrow!
