Woman Fakes Own Kidnapping to Get a Day Off From Work

I have heard of people coming up with some extreme excuses to miss work. I have even come up with a few "sore throats" to get out of work. No, boss, not for this job. I was sick those times. Anyway, I would have never thought to fake a kidnapping because I didn't want to go to work.  The lady was found in her car bound and gagged by an officer who was on patrol in the morning. She told the cop that a man had jumped her with a knife after she went to the ATM and tied her up and left her in the car.

Scary right? Well, then the officers noticed a lottery ticket in her purse that had been purchased during the time when she was "abducted" and the security camera from the ATM showed her withdrawing money, but no one else was there.

After a while she finally admitted that she just wanted a day off of work and some attention. Well, she got it. As well as an aggravated perjury charge.
