One of my heroes, the legendary man of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, will be at this year's Denver Comic Con. 'Nuff said!

Last year over 27,000 people attended the first-ever Denver event (myself included) and this year it should be bigger and better. The 2013 Denver Comic Con & Literary Conference is happening May 31st-June 2nd at the Colorado Convention Center. Now, the big question, when and where can I get tickets?

According to DCC's Facebook page, tickets have not gone on sale (as of Oct. 22nd). Internet rumors are already swirling about tickets being sold out, but seeing as they aren't even on sale yet, those rumors are obviously false.

DCC says they plan to start selling tickets in the next few days, but they will announce the on-sale date and give fans advance notice before they start selling them. So, you might want to follow their FB page if you want to get tickets before they sell out. I'm sure the panel with Mr. Lee is going to be the hottest ticket at this year's event.

The legendary Stan Lee, 89, is the former head of Marvel Comics and helped create many of the world's most famous superheros. (Spider Man, Thor, Iron Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and many, many more.)

Check out this video of his cameo appearances in the Marvel movies (through 2012).

As Denver’s first large scale Comic Con, the three-day event featured an impressive roster of comic talent from the prestigious to lesser-known indie talent as well as 155 exhibitors, ranging from comic book stores to sci-fi collectables and everything pop-culture in between. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the 2012 Denver Comic Con was the incredible fan-level participation with costumes galore, as well as an array of top-shelf Cosplay appearances.
