Windsor – Severance Fire Rescue Open House Is Saturday

There are few things a kid loves more than getting to hang out with firefighters at the firehouse. There is just something special and heroic about what these folks do that draws us in, and their big toys are pretty cool too! This Saturday (June 9th) from 10am to 2pm you and the kids are invited to Fire Station No. 1 (100 Seventh St.) in Windsor for their 10th annual open house. 

The open house will include live demonstrations and educational opportunities. Other agencies participating in the day’s events include surrounding fire departments, advanced life support agencies, local hospitals and law enforcement agencies. The firefighters will also serve up a complimentary lunch at 11am, and at 1pm there will be a raffle for prizes.
