What Stores Does Fort Collins Not Have, But Could Use? [POLL]
Some people, namely me, have a problem. A shopping problem. Things is, it has been pretty easy to curb the problem as of late in Fort Collins due to a lack of a good mall. That all is about to change however. Walton Street Capital and Alberta Development Partners purchased the Foothills Mall in July for $39.6 million and plan to redevelop it with an eye on reopening for the holiday season in 2014.
Will Allegiant Airlines Departure From the Loveland Fort Collins Airport Affect How You Travel? [POLL]
It has been called an “internal business decision” by Allegiant Airlines, but that decision has many scratching their heads. It was announced last week that Allegiant Air will discontinue service from the Fort Collins/Loveland Municipal Airport on Oct. 29. The abrupt decision is sure to hurt the airport, but will it also affect how you travel?
So Much to Do, So Little Labor Day Weekend to Do It
Sadly the unofficial end of summer is this weekend, Labor Day weekend. On a brighter note, most of us a get an extra day off, and there is a ton of fun stuff to do in the area. I am going to pack as many of these fun filled events into my Labor Day weekend as possible. Come join me!
Transcript of President Obama’s Speech at Colorado State University in Fort Collins [VIDEO]
It doesn’t happen everyday, actually it doesn’t happen often at all. Love him, hate him, or don’t care about politics, it becomes quite a spectacle when the President of the United States rolls into town. If you tried to drive around Fort Collins yesterday afternoon or evening you got a taste of it. So why was Obama in town? To say these things…
Who Is Going To Win This Years Rocky Mountain Showdown? – Survey of the Day
Even though it is a game between two schools that have been basically irrelevant in college football for the better half of the last decade the Rocky Mountain Showdown between the University of Colorado and Colorado State University still creates quite a bit of buzz. Enough buzz that even the President of the United States mentioned the game in his speech at CSU yesterday. Who do you think will wi
Hurricane Isaac Threatening Florida and the Gulf Coast – How It Could Affect Colorado
Weather forecasters say that it could be the worst hurricane to hit the United States since Katrina almost 7 years to the date. Hurricane Isaac has already caused the Republican National Convention to be delayed and Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana have all declared states of emergency with Isaac looming. Our thoughts and prayers are with those to the south, but Isaac could also affect
No Chance to See President Obama at the Airport, Tickets For Rally Avaliable Saturday at Noon
It is pretty cool to know that Air Force One will be flying right over our backyards and landing at the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport on Tuesday, but police are warning the public that there won’t be a place for anyone to get out there and get a view of Air Force One or the president. So in other words your only hope to get a look at the president is to get to one of three locations arou
Delaney Wadsworth Family’s Home Burglarized Just Over One Year After Her Passing
This story truly begs the question, what is wrong with some people? It happens more often then we like to think it does, but burglary is way too prominent in our society. I guess some folks never had their mama tell them one of the most basic rules in life… If it ain’t yours don’t touch it! To make the story of this robbery even worse, it happened to a family who is all too familiar to loss.

Fort Collins Electric Bills Shockingly High
As temperatures in Northern Colorado start to fall one would probably think that the number on the on bill from the electric bill would shrink as well. New Belgium Brewery One of the Best Places to Work in the United States
Chose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. You have heard it before, but even at a job you love, there are days where it is work to go to work. I have never worked there, but it sounds like the folks who are lucky enough to have New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins printed on the top of their paychecks have it pretty good. Outside Magazine’s “Best Places to Work” issu
Vacant Fort Collins Walmart to Reopen
You don’t see it happen very often if at all, a store closing, staying vacant, and then reopening years later. Well, it’s about to happen in Fort Collins. Five years after giving way to a new Walmart Supercenter in north Loveland, the vacant “little” Walmart in south Fort Collins will undergo an expansion and rebirth.
