I used to wonder why occasionally I would come across videos with huge black bars on the left and right of the screen, with only a tiny viewing area in the middle.  Then, one day, I realized the cause: tons of people don't know how to hold a camera-phone.

It's a condition called Vertical Video Syndrome.  Sadly, even some of my own co-workers suffer from this terrible affliction.  Luckily, there's a PSA to educate the public about VVS.  Together, we can keep movies horizontal!
