Four big movies are opening up this weekend.  You can fight your fate, learn the meaning of true love, see through the eyes of a crazy lizard, and chase down the girl of you dream (circa 1988). Sounds like a good time. Read more for a quick synopsis of the movies, trailers, and links for show times.

The Adjustment Bureau” (PG-13)
Stars Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slattery and Michael Kelly.

A romantic-thriller (how often do you see those genres put together?) where a man gets a glimpse of the future and realizes he wants something different.  He has to chase down to only woman he’s ever loved, but “the man” has other ideas for what the future will be.

Beastly” (PG-13)
Stars Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, Alex Pettyfer, Neil Patrick Harris and Peter Krause.

A modern-day take on the classic story of Beauty and the Beast.  An egotistical teen from New York is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love. I’ll give them props for casting Doogie Howser as a blind tutor.

Rango” (PG)
Stars Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Ned Beatty, Timothy Olyphant and Alfred Molina.

An animated tale about a chameleon who accidentally ends up in a lawless, Wild West town that’s searching for a hero.

Take Me Home Tonight” (R)
Stars Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, Teresa Palmer and Seth Gabel.

It looks like one of those feel-good, party movies from the 80’s. A college grad has no idea what to do with his life and decides to reinvent himself to win over the girl of his dreams a party.  I’m sure you'll hear all the Eddie Money music you can handle.
