Last weekend Wolf Creek was the first ski resort to turn on its lifts, Arapahoe Basin opened their slopes yesterday for the season, and skiers and snowboarders can ride the white waves at Loveland Ski Area starting at 9am today.
After some snowfall in the mountains and some hard work in the snow-making department, Arapahoe Basin announced that they will be opening their lifts for the 2011-2012 ski season tomorrow (Thurs Oct. 13th) at 9am!
Wolf Creek won the race in the first to open this year last weekend, but that's a 6-hour drive from Fort Collins. A-basin is one of the 5 closest resorts to Fort Collins.
