We told you about a month ago about Weld County giving out free explosive gas monitors to residents. Since launching the program to give out the free monitors that detect explosive gases, Weld County has given out more than 850 of them since August 24th. The county has spent almost $60,000 on the program so far.

If you are a resident and would like to participate in receiving a free monitor, you should attend one of the last monitor giveaways or contact the Weld County Oil and Gas Liaison, Troy Swain, at tswain@weldgov.com or at 970-400-3548.
