Weather Related Closures And Cancellations For Northern Colorado

Pretty much all schools are closed today. The snow started falling yesterday mid afternoon and really hasn't stopped too much since then.

6-8 inches has fallen in most areas across the Northern Colorado, more in the foothills and as of the time of me writing this article...it's still dumping here in beautiful Downtown Windsor!

If you or someone you know has kids that are in school, more than likely it's a snow day. If you don't have to go out today, it's highly suggested that you don't but for many, work calls and you have no choice and if that's the case, give yourself plenty of extra time and be safe.

Here's a rundown of the closures and cancellations for NoCo today:

Broomfield City and County

Brighton District 27J

Colorado State University - Fort Collins

CU Boulder

City of Fort Collins Bulidings And Facilities- Delayed opening until 10AM

This delay applies to all city facilities including recreational and cultural facilities and programs. Critical services, such as fire and police will continue as usual. Transfort buses will continue to operate under their current schedule.

City of Greeley Offices

University of Northern Colorado closed. Online and remote classes are not affected by the snow closure.

JBS Greeley Fed Beef Plant delays: “Due to winter weather, Harvest A shift and Fab A Shift operations will have a 1-hour delay start time, Feb. 2, 2022. All support areas, please get with your department manager. Human resources will start at the regular time. All B shift production will have a regular start time.”

City Of Loveland

 Front Range Community College campuses, centers and sites will be closed for all services on Wednesday.
