Sunday marks the 15 year anniversary of a day that will live in infamy forever. The day thousands of lives were lost on September 11th 2001. The attacks on the Twin Towers in New York, the attack at the Pentagon and the plane that was downed in Pennsylvania.

The attacks on that day took nearly 3,000 lives. Now, almost 15 years later, the date has become a sale for one mattress company in San Antonio, Texas. Take a look at this highly distasteful commercial depicting the fall of the Twin Towers with the outro on the commercial saying “we will never forget”.

I don’t get offended easily. Frankly, I am not offended by this. I do however think that it is a slap in the face of the people whose lives were lost, the first responders that had to rush in to such a tragedy and those who are still fighting for what happened on that day.
The owner of Miracle Mattress store went on camera to explain the commercial saying “it was stupid” as seen in this newscast here:

The sale, dubbed the “”Twin Towers Sale” was intended to churn up business. They churned up more than business. Quite the opposite is happening. People took to their Facebook page to show outrage. Frankly, I hope these people go out of business. How could you even think for a split second that something like this is even remotely close to a good idea? Moron is the best word I can use on here… So we’ll go with that.
