Did You Know You Can Share Spotify Songs on Tinder?
Well, this is news to us!
Tinder, one of the most popular dating apps in the world, is
hooking teaming up with the largest music streaming platform, Spotify, to test out a new feature that will allow its users to share music clips within their chats.
According to screenshots posted to the blog MSPowerUser, users will find a green music note icon where the Bitmoji icon used to be (near the GIF icon) at the bottom left of the Tinder chat. When clicked, you can search a song from a list of results and send it to your match. FYI though, you reportedly can't share a full song—just a 30-second music clip, which we think is more than enough time to properly communicate your feelings.
TechCrunch reports that the feature is being currently tested only on iOS and web platforms. However, Tinder has yet to confirm any more details, such as when the feature will be made available to all of its users.
This actually isn't even the first time Tinder and Spotify have joined forces. Back in 2016, the two companies gave users the ability to share their favorite songs on their profile pages. The integration was a success and this new music sharing feature seems like it'll be a lot of fun, too.
