There Could Be a Sriracha Shortage On The Way

Cue the dramatic music. In the wake of news of a wine shortage, this has come out. Everyone's favorite red sauce, Sriracha, could be running out!

Ok, it's not really running out, we may just see a shortage due to the California factory possibly having to shut down.

Locals around the California plant have been complaining about the smell that the factory is producing during the making of the popular sauce. It is so bad that it is causing burning eyes, throats and headaches. The residents filed a complaint with the courts to try and fix the situation. The city attorney stated that if the company found a solution for the problem, the lawsuit would go away.

Right now is the busy season for the factory since the chiles the are in season and halting production is probably going to raise the price of the sauce.
