Peace be with you.

And also with brew.

A Texas church has taken advantage of the fact that a meeting place that opened up to them was also a brewpub, and they are serving pints during one of their special Sunday meetings. Calvary Lutheran Church in Texas was looking for a new place for their parishioners to meet, and also wanted a spot where they could connect with those outside of their congregation. When they realized that they could serve some beer during their weekly Sunday evening gatherings, they decided to go ahead with is, just because they could.

As you'll hear in the video, they didn't start out doing this in order to attract new members, but with the publicity they are getting, they are likely to do just that.

They simply wanted a place off site for worship, and found the Zio Carlo brew pub in a developing area, and the partnership worked out.
